1. Introduction

Welcome to ScienceX.org.in, the official website operated by ScienceX Education, a division of ScienceX Innovations LLP ("ScienceX", "we", "our", or "us").

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of ScienceX websites, portals, registration systems, learning resources, products, services, assessments, Olympiads, courses, publications, events, and digital platforms.

By accessing this website, registering for any ScienceX program, submitting information, making payment, purchasing a product, using digital resources, or participating in any ScienceX activity, you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any additional policies published by ScienceX.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use this website or any ScienceX service.

2. Definitions

For the purpose of these Terms:

  • ScienceX means ScienceX Education, ScienceX Innovations LLP, its divisions, employees, representatives, partners, and authorized service providers.
  • Website means ScienceX.org.in and all related domains, subdomains, portals, applications, and online platforms operated by ScienceX.
  • Services include Olympiads, assessments, courses, publications, digital resources, ScienceX Lab in a Box, events, registrations, subscriptions, and other educational offerings.
  • User means any visitor, student, parent, guardian, teacher, coordinator, school, institution, or organization using ScienceX services.
  • Student means a participant in any ScienceX examination, assessment, course, competition, or educational activity.
  • School means an educational institution registering students for ScienceX programs.
  • Coordinator means a teacher or authorized representative appointed by a school to coordinate registrations, payments, communication, or examination activities.
  • Content includes text, images, videos, audio, software, question papers, study material, books, logos, trademarks, graphics, data, and any other material provided by ScienceX.

3. Eligibility and User Responsibility

Users must provide accurate, complete, and current information while registering or using ScienceX services. Any incorrect, misleading, incomplete, or false information may result in rejection, cancellation of registration, withholding of results, or disqualification.

Students below the age of 18 must use ScienceX services under the supervision and consent of a parent, guardian, school, or authorized teacher.

Schools and coordinators are responsible for ensuring that student details, class, subject selection, payment information, and examination preferences are correctly submitted.

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials. Any activity carried out through a user account shall be deemed to have been performed by the account holder unless reported immediately to ScienceX.

4. Accounts and Access

ScienceX may provide user accounts, school accounts, coordinator logins, student portals, or administrative access for specific services. Access is granted solely for authorized educational, registration, examination, or administrative purposes.

Users must not share passwords, misuse login credentials, impersonate another person, create accounts using false information, or attempt unauthorized access to any system.

ScienceX reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate any account if misuse, fraud, security risk, unauthorized access, or violation of these Terms is suspected.

5. Registration and Payments

Registration for ScienceX Olympiads, assessments, courses, products, or services may be completed online or offline, depending on the applicable program instructions.

Schools, coordinators, parents, guardians, or users must ensure that registration details are verified before final submission. Once submitted, registration changes may be restricted or subject to ScienceX approval.

Registration fees, product prices, course fees, subscription charges, delivery charges, taxes, and other applicable fees shall be displayed or communicated at the time of registration or purchase.

Payments may be made through available payment modes such as online payment gateway, UPI, debit card, credit card, net banking, wallet, NEFT, RTGS, demand draft, multicity cheque, or any other mode approved by ScienceX.

ScienceX is not responsible for payment failure, bank delay, incorrect transaction details, payment gateway downtime, or incomplete payments caused by third-party service providers. Users must retain transaction proof for verification.

6. Refund and Cancellation Policy

Unless specifically stated otherwise for a particular service, registration fees for Olympiads, assessments, competitions, courses, and related services are non-refundable.

No refund shall be issued for incorrect registration, non-participation, absence from examination, duplicate submission, technical issues at the user’s end, failure to follow instructions, disqualification, or cancellation due to violation of these Terms.

ScienceX may, at its sole discretion, consider refund, adjustment, credit, or rescheduling only in exceptional cases, subject to internal review and applicable program policies.

For physical products, replacement or refund, if any, shall be governed by the applicable product policy, availability, delivery status, and condition of the product.

7. Olympiad and Examination Rules

ScienceX Olympiads and assessments are designed to evaluate students’ academic ability, reasoning skills, scientific aptitude, subject knowledge, and competitive readiness.

Students must participate honestly and independently. Any form of cheating, copying, impersonation, unauthorized assistance, use of unfair means, or manipulation of exam systems is strictly prohibited.

Schools and coordinators must conduct offline examinations fairly and as per the official guidelines issued by ScienceX. Parents, guardians, and teachers must not assist students in answering questions during any examination.

ScienceX may issue guidelines regarding examination dates, time slots, subjects, syllabus, question paper pattern, marking scheme, duration, invigilation, seating arrangements, answer sheets, online links, technical requirements, and result declaration.

ScienceX reserves the right to change examination dates, time slots, mode of examination, assessment format, syllabus, question pattern, result schedule, or award criteria when necessary due to administrative, technical, academic, legal, or unavoidable circumstances.

8. Online Examination and Technical Requirements

Where an examination or assessment is conducted online, students must ensure access to a suitable device such as desktop, laptop, tablet, or smartphone with stable internet connectivity.

The device may require a working webcam, microphone, supported browser, updated software, and sufficient battery or power backup. ScienceX may specify additional technical requirements before the examination.

ScienceX is not responsible for internet failure, device malfunction, browser issues, power outage, login delay, incorrect system settings, or any technical problem at the student’s end.

For exam integrity, ScienceX may monitor online examinations using webcam snapshots, audio checks, screen activity, login records, IP address, browser data, or other reasonable proctoring methods, subject to applicable law and the Privacy Policy.

9. Academic Integrity and Prohibited Conduct

ScienceX maintains a strict policy against academic dishonesty and misconduct.

Users must not:

  • Cheat, copy, or use unfair means during an examination.
  • Use unauthorized books, notes, websites, software, devices, or assistance.
  • Share, sell, photograph, record, distribute, or publish question papers or answers.
  • Impersonate another student or allow another person to appear on behalf of a student.
  • Manipulate results, certificates, marks, registration data, or payment records.
  • Threaten, harass, abuse, intimidate, or pressure ScienceX staff, coordinators, schools, or participants.
  • Attempt to hack, overload, damage, reverse-engineer, or interfere with ScienceX systems.

If any misconduct is found or reasonably suspected, ScienceX may cancel registration, disqualify the participant, withhold results, cancel certificates, withdraw awards, ban the user from future programs, inform the school, or take legal action where required.

10. Results, Ranking, Certificates, and Awards

ScienceX may publish or communicate results, ranks, certificates, score reports, awards, and recognition details through its website, portal, email, school communication, or other official channels.

Ranking criteria may include marks obtained, accuracy, time taken, tie-breaker rules, level, class, subject, category, region, school participation, or any other criteria determined by ScienceX.

In case of a tie, ScienceX may use completion time, subject-wise performance, interview, additional assessment, internal review, or any other method to determine final ranking or award eligibility.

The decision of ScienceX regarding results, ranking, awards, certificates, and eligibility shall be final and binding.

ScienceX may correct errors in results, certificates, ranks, names, school details, or award lists at any time if inaccuracies are discovered.

11. School and Coordinator Responsibilities

Schools and coordinators play an important role in student registration, fee collection, communication, examination conduct, student support, and result coordination.

Schools and coordinators must ensure that:

  • Student information is collected and submitted accurately.
  • Applicable consent from parents or guardians is obtained wherever required.
  • Fees are collected and remitted according to ScienceX instructions.
  • Examinations are conducted fairly and responsibly.
  • ScienceX guidelines are communicated to students and parents.
  • Confidential exam material is not copied, leaked, misused, or distributed.

Any coordinator convenience fee, honorarium, reward, certificate, merchandise, resource kit, ScienceX Lab in a Box, or recognition benefit shall be subject to eligibility, participation level, availability, payment completion, verification, and applicable ScienceX policies.

12. Products, Publications, Courses, and Digital Resources

ScienceX may offer books, e-books, courses, posters, learning kits, subscription boxes, ScienceX Lab in a Box, digital resources, worksheets, reports, study materials, and other educational products.

Product descriptions, images, prices, availability, specifications, and delivery timelines are provided for general guidance and may change without prior notice.

Digital resources, including e-books, PDFs, videos, online courses, and downloadable materials, are provided for personal or institutional educational use only, unless otherwise authorized in writing.

Users must not reproduce, resell, upload, distribute, publicly display, modify, or commercially exploit ScienceX products or digital resources without written permission.

13. Intellectual Property Rights

All content, trademarks, logos, designs, software, source code, examination questions, answer keys, study materials, books, graphics, videos, audio, reports, certificates, brand names, product names, and other materials made available by ScienceX are the intellectual property of ScienceX Innovations LLP or its licensors.

Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable permission to access and use ScienceX content only for lawful, personal, academic, or authorized institutional purposes.

No user may copy, reproduce, publish, distribute, sell, license, modify, translate, reverse-engineer, scrape, mine, or create derivative works from ScienceX content without prior written consent.

14. User-Submitted Content

Users may submit information, data, images, documents, responses, feedback, assignments, forms, school details, student records, or other content while using ScienceX services.

By submitting content, users confirm that they have the right and authority to submit it and that the content is accurate, lawful, and does not violate any third-party rights.

Users grant ScienceX a limited right to use submitted content for providing services, processing registrations, conducting examinations, issuing certificates, communicating with users, resolving disputes, maintaining records, improving services, and fulfilling legal obligations.

15. Privacy and Data Protection

ScienceX respects user privacy and processes personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy and applicable laws.

By using ScienceX services, users consent to the collection, use, storage, processing, sharing, and retention of information required for registration, examination, payment, communication, certification, academic reporting, product delivery, support, compliance, and service improvement.

ScienceX may share necessary information with schools, payment processors, technology providers, logistics partners, examination partners, support teams, legal advisors, government authorities, or other authorized service providers where required.

Users should review the Privacy Policy for detailed information regarding data collection, cookies, communication, security, retention, and user rights.

16. Communications

ScienceX may communicate with users through email, SMS, WhatsApp, phone calls, website notifications, portal alerts, postal communication, or other official channels.

Such communication may include registration updates, payment confirmation, examination details, roll numbers, admit cards, guidelines, result notifications, certificates, product updates, support responses, policy updates, and promotional information.

Users are responsible for providing correct contact details and regularly checking official communication channels.

17. Third-Party Services and Links

ScienceX services may contain links to third-party websites, payment gateways, video platforms, communication tools, logistics providers, analytics services, or other external platforms.

ScienceX does not control third-party services and is not responsible for their content, availability, security, privacy practices, errors, failures, charges, or policies.

Use of third-party services is subject to the terms and policies of the respective third party.

18. Website Availability and Security

ScienceX makes reasonable efforts to keep its website and services available, secure, and functional. However, uninterrupted or error-free access is not guaranteed.

Services may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, server issues, cybersecurity measures, internet disruptions, payment gateway failures, software errors, force majeure events, or circumstances beyond ScienceX control.

Users must not attempt to compromise website security, introduce malware, overload systems, bypass authentication, scan vulnerabilities, or access restricted areas without permission.

19. Disclaimer of Warranties

ScienceX services and content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. ScienceX makes reasonable efforts to provide accurate and useful educational services, but does not guarantee that all content will be error-free, complete, current, suitable, uninterrupted, or free from technical issues.

ScienceX does not guarantee any specific academic result, rank, award, admission benefit, career outcome, scholarship, or performance improvement from the use of its services.

20. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ScienceX Innovations LLP, ScienceX Education, its officers, employees, representatives, partners, vendors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages arising from use of or inability to use ScienceX services.

This includes, but is not limited to, loss of data, loss of opportunity, examination disruption, payment failure, internet issue, device malfunction, delay, cancellation, incorrect information submitted by users, third-party service failure, or reliance on website content.

21. Indemnity

Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless ScienceX Innovations LLP, ScienceX Education, its officers, employees, representatives, partners, and affiliates from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, penalties, costs, or expenses arising from:

  • Violation of these Terms;
  • Misuse of ScienceX services;
  • Submission of false or unauthorized information;
  • Violation of law or third-party rights;
  • Academic misconduct or cheating;
  • Unauthorized use or distribution of ScienceX content;
  • Actions of students, parents, schools, coordinators, or institutional representatives.

22. Force Majeure

ScienceX shall not be liable for delay, cancellation, non-performance, or disruption caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemic, epidemic, war, strike, government order, court order, internet outage, cyberattack, server failure, payment gateway disruption, logistics delay, power failure, or any other force majeure event.

In such circumstances, ScienceX may reschedule, postpone, modify, merge, cancel, or change the mode of any service, examination, event, delivery, or program.

23. Modification of Services

ScienceX may modify, suspend, discontinue, replace, upgrade, or withdraw any service, feature, product, examination, subject, course, syllabus, content, pricing, schedule, portal, or policy at any time.

ScienceX may also introduce new services, change existing programs, or update eligibility criteria based on academic, operational, legal, technical, or business requirements.

24. Termination

ScienceX may suspend or terminate access to any account, registration, service, product, examination, or program if a user violates these Terms, misuses services, provides false information, engages in misconduct, fails to make payment, compromises security, or causes harm to ScienceX or other users.

Termination shall not affect ScienceX rights to retain records, enforce these Terms, recover dues, investigate misconduct, or take legal action.

25. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India.

Any dispute, claim, or legal proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms, ScienceX services, registrations, payments, examinations, products, or website use shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Delhi, India.

26. Changes to These Terms

ScienceX may update or revise these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms shall be published on this website with the revised effective date or last updated date.

Continued use of the website or ScienceX services after publication of updated Terms shall constitute acceptance of the revised Terms.

Users are encouraged to review these Terms periodically.

27. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue to remain valid and enforceable.

28. No Waiver

Failure by ScienceX to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not be considered a waiver of its right to enforce that provision or any other provision in the future.

29. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, program-specific rules, registration instructions, examination guidelines, and any other official policies issued by ScienceX, constitute the entire agreement between the user and ScienceX regarding use of ScienceX services.

31. Acceptance

By accessing or using ScienceX.org.in, registering for any ScienceX program, submitting student information, making payment, purchasing products, accessing digital resources, or participating in ScienceX Olympiads or services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please discontinue use of the website and ScienceX services.

2. Eligibility and User Accounts

ScienceX services are available to students, parents, guardians, schools, teachers, coordinators, educational institutions, researchers, organizations, and other users who comply with these Terms.

Users under the age of 18 must access ScienceX services under the supervision of a parent, legal guardian, or authorized educational institution. Schools registering students confirm that they have obtained all necessary permissions required under applicable laws and institutional policies.

Where account registration is required, users agree to:

  • Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of login credentials.
  • Notify ScienceX immediately of any unauthorized access or suspected security breach.
  • Use only one authorized account unless otherwise permitted.
  • Keep contact details updated to receive important communications.

ScienceX reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate any account that contains inaccurate information, violates these Terms, compromises security, or is used for fraudulent or unauthorized purposes.

3. School Registration and Coordinator Responsibilities

Schools participating in ScienceX Olympiads or other ScienceX programs shall nominate an authorized School Coordinator responsible for registration, communication, examination coordination, and related administrative activities.

The School Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that:

  • Student information is accurate and complete.
  • Correct classes, subjects, and examination levels are selected.
  • Registration deadlines are observed.
  • Applicable fees are collected and remitted on time.
  • Students and parents receive official ScienceX communications.
  • Examinations are conducted according to ScienceX guidelines.

ScienceX may communicate directly with schools, coordinators, students, or parents whenever necessary regarding registrations, examinations, payments, results, certificates, awards, or other official matters.

4. Registration Process

Registration for ScienceX services may be completed online through the official ScienceX registration portal or through any other registration method authorized by ScienceX.

Registration is considered complete only after:

  • Required information has been successfully submitted.
  • Applicable fees have been received or verified.
  • ScienceX confirms acceptance of the registration.

ScienceX reserves the right to reject, cancel, or request correction of any registration containing incomplete, inaccurate, duplicate, misleading, or fraudulent information.

Submission of a registration request does not automatically guarantee participation in any examination, competition, event, or program.

5. Fees and Payments

Registration fees, product prices, subscription charges, shipping charges, taxes, and other applicable charges shall be displayed or communicated through official ScienceX channels.

Payments may be accepted through one or more of the following methods:

  • Credit Card
  • Debit Card
  • UPI
  • Net Banking
  • Digital Wallets
  • NEFT / RTGS
  • Demand Draft
  • Multicity Cheque
  • Other payment methods approved by ScienceX

Users are responsible for ensuring that payment information is correct. ScienceX shall not be responsible for delays, failures, duplicate transactions, or losses arising from incorrect payment details or third-party payment service interruptions.

Where GST or other applicable taxes are required by law, such taxes shall be charged as applicable.

6. Coordinator Convenience Fee

For selected school-based Olympiad programs, ScienceX may permit participating schools or authorized coordinators to retain a Coordinator Convenience Fee from the prescribed registration fee, subject to the applicable program guidelines.

The Coordinator Convenience Fee is intended to support school-level administrative activities such as student registration, communication, examination arrangements, record management, and related coordination work.

ScienceX reserves the right to revise, suspend, withdraw, or modify the Coordinator Convenience Fee structure, eligibility criteria, or payment process at any time without creating any vested right in future academic sessions.

7. Refunds and Cancellations

Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, registration fees, examination fees, subscription charges, and service fees are non-refundable.

Refunds shall generally not be provided in cases including, but not limited to:

  • Incorrect information submitted by the user.
  • Failure to attend an examination or event.
  • Duplicate registration by the user.
  • Failure to meet technical requirements at the user's end.
  • Disqualification due to violation of these Terms.
  • Voluntary withdrawal after registration.

Where ScienceX cancels a program, examination, or service for operational reasons, ScienceX may, at its sole discretion, provide an alternative examination date, credit, replacement service, or refund in accordance with the applicable policy.

8. Olympiads, Assessments and Examination Rules

ScienceX conducts Olympiads, assessments, competitions, talent searches, academic evaluations, certification programs, and other educational activities to encourage scientific learning, logical reasoning, mathematical aptitude, innovation, and academic excellence.

All participants are expected to conduct themselves honestly, responsibly, and in accordance with the examination guidelines issued by ScienceX.

ScienceX reserves the right to prescribe eligibility criteria, syllabus, question paper pattern, examination duration, marking scheme, qualifying criteria, awards, certificates, examination schedule, and other academic policies for each program.

Participation in any ScienceX examination does not guarantee awards, scholarships, certificates of merit, rankings, admissions, employment opportunities, or any other academic or professional benefit beyond those officially announced by ScienceX.

9. Examination Schedule and Administration

ScienceX shall publish examination schedules through its official website, registration portal, email, or other official communication channels.

ScienceX may modify examination dates, reporting times, duration, examination mode, time slots, examination centres, or related administrative arrangements whenever required due to operational, technical, academic, legal, safety, or unforeseen circumstances.

Schools, coordinators, students, and parents are responsible for checking official communications regularly and ensuring that they comply with the latest examination instructions.

10. Mode of Examination

ScienceX examinations may be conducted through one or more of the following modes:

  • Offline at participating schools.
  • Online through the official examination portal.
  • Computer-based testing.
  • Remote proctored examinations.
  • Any other mode announced by ScienceX.

ScienceX reserves the right to change the mode of examination before or during an academic session whenever necessary.

11. Candidate Responsibilities During Examination

Every participant shall:

  • Appear only in the examination for which they are registered.
  • Follow all instructions issued by ScienceX, the school, or the invigilator.
  • Maintain discipline throughout the examination.
  • Protect the confidentiality of examination questions.
  • Use only permitted materials during the examination.
  • Submit responses within the prescribed examination time.

Students must not:

  • Communicate with other candidates during the examination.
  • Copy answers from any source.
  • Use unauthorized electronic devices.
  • Share examination content in any form.
  • Attempt to manipulate examination software or answer sheets.

12. Online Examination Requirements

Where an examination is conducted online, candidates shall ensure that they have access to:

  • A desktop computer, laptop, tablet, or supported smartphone.
  • A stable internet connection.
  • An updated web browser supported by ScienceX.
  • A functioning webcam where required.
  • A microphone where required.
  • A reliable power source throughout the examination.

ScienceX shall not be responsible for examination disruption caused by internet failure, device malfunction, browser incompatibility, power failure, or any other technical issue occurring at the candidate's location.

13. Online Proctoring and Examination Monitoring

To maintain academic integrity, ScienceX may employ one or more examination security measures including:

  • Identity verification.
  • Photograph verification.
  • Webcam monitoring.
  • Microphone monitoring.
  • Screen activity monitoring.
  • Browser security checks.
  • Random screenshots.
  • Login and device verification.
  • Artificial intelligence-assisted monitoring.

By participating in an online examination, candidates consent to the use of such reasonable examination security measures in accordance with applicable law and the ScienceX Privacy Policy.

14. Academic Integrity

ScienceX is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity, fairness, and transparency.

Candidates shall complete all examinations independently unless specifically permitted otherwise by ScienceX.

Parents, guardians, teachers, coordinators, and other persons supervising an online or home-based examination shall not assist candidates in answering questions or otherwise influence examination performance.

15. Prohibited Conduct

The following activities are strictly prohibited:

  • Cheating or attempting to cheat.
  • Impersonation.
  • Plagiarism.
  • Receiving unauthorized assistance.
  • Providing assistance to another candidate.
  • Recording examination questions.
  • Photographing question papers.
  • Sharing examination links or passwords.
  • Using AI tools or automated systems where not permitted.
  • Reverse engineering examination software.
  • Manipulating browser security.
  • Tampering with answer sheets.
  • Threatening ScienceX staff, schools, or participants.
  • Harassment, intimidation, abusive language, or misconduct.

16. Investigation of Academic Misconduct

ScienceX may investigate any suspected violation of examination rules before, during, or after the examination.

Such investigations may include review of:

  • Registration records.
  • Photographs.
  • Audio or video recordings.
  • Browser logs.
  • IP addresses.
  • System logs.
  • Answer patterns.
  • School reports.
  • Coordinator reports.
  • Other relevant evidence.

ScienceX may request additional clarification or supporting documents whenever considered necessary.

17. Disciplinary Action

If ScienceX reasonably believes that a participant has violated examination rules or these Terms, ScienceX may take one or more of the following actions:

  • Issue a warning.
  • Cancel the examination attempt.
  • Withhold results.
  • Cancel certificates.
  • Withdraw awards or scholarships.
  • Disqualify the participant.
  • Suspend or terminate user accounts.
  • Ban participation in future ScienceX programs.
  • Notify the school or parent.
  • Initiate appropriate legal proceedings where required.

The decision of ScienceX regarding academic misconduct shall be final and binding.

18. Results, Rankings and Awards

ScienceX may publish results through its official website, registration portal, email, school communication, or other official channels.

Rankings may be determined using one or more of the following factors:

  • Total marks obtained.
  • Accuracy of responses.
  • Time taken to complete the examination.
  • Subject-wise performance.
  • Tie-breaking rules prescribed by ScienceX.

ScienceX reserves the right to revise, correct, withdraw, or republish results if errors, technical issues, fraudulent activity, or administrative discrepancies are identified.
