1. Introduction and Scope

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of websites, registration portals, assessments, Olympiads, courses, software, publications, physical and digital products, events and support services operated by ScienceX Innovations LLP ("ScienceX", "we", "our", "us"), including services offered through ScienceX Education, ScienceX Olympiads, ScienceX Publications and ScienceX Robotics & Scientific Systems.

These Terms apply together with the applicable programme rules, Privacy Policy, Refund & Cancellation Policy, Shipping & Delivery Policy, and notices presented for specific services. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

2. Definitions

• School: an educational institution participating in a ScienceX programme.
• Coordinator: a person authorised by a school to manage registrations, communication and examination arrangements.
• Participant: a student or other person enrolled in a ScienceX programme.
• Services: the programmes, platforms, products and resources described above.
• Content: ScienceX-owned or licensed text, questions, software, images, recordings, reports and educational materials.

3. Eligibility and Account Security

Users must provide accurate information and act through authorised accounts. Schools are responsible for appointing appropriate coordinators and managing their access. Account holders must protect credentials, promptly report suspected compromise, and not impersonate others or access accounts without permission. ScienceX may restrict access where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention or a substantiated violation, subject to applicable law and proportionate review.

4. Children and Mandatory Parental Consent

For ScienceX school-based registration, parental or lawful-guardian consent is mandatory for each participant below 18 years of age before the school submits the child's personal data. Schools must use the prescribed consent process, retain appropriate records securely and cooperate with lawful verification requests. A school declaration does not replace any verifiable parental-consent requirement under applicable law.

Consent for optional publicity, photographs, testimonials, marketing or optional psychometric services must be obtained separately where required. Refusal of optional publicity consent does not affect examination eligibility. The Privacy Policy explains processing purposes, withdrawal and applicable data rights.

5. School Registration and Coordinator Duties

For school-only programmes such as NLSO 2026, the school or authorised coordinator submits registrations through the official ScienceX portal or another approved process. The school must check student names, class, level, subject, contact details, consent records and examination-session selection; meet published deadlines; safeguard student records; and communicate official instructions to parents and participants.

Registration is confirmed only when required information, applicable payment and ScienceX acceptance conditions are satisfied. Unlisted or additional examination candidates are subject to the official provisional-candidate procedure and may not use another student's pre-filled OMR.

6. Fees, Payment and Coordinator Arrangements

Applicable fees, taxes and delivery charges will be displayed or communicated before payment. Accepted payment methods are those currently announced through official ScienceX channels. Schools must remit fees according to the programme instructions. Cash is not an accepted NLSO registration-payment method unless ScienceX expressly changes its official payment instructions.

Where a programme permits a school or coordinator to retain an administrative amount, the amount, conditions and eligible recipient will be stated in that programme's official circular. Such arrangements do not automatically entitle a coordinator to an additional charge from parents. Coordinator recognition, honoraria and benefits are subject to the published criteria and applicable law.

7. Refunds, Cancellations and Payment Disputes

Confirmed examination fees are generally non-refundable after processing commences, subject to the Refund & Cancellation Policy and mandatory legal remedies. Verified duplicate or excess payments will be refunded or adjusted with the payer's agreement. Where ScienceX cancels a paid service without providing the agreed service or an acceptable alternative, an appropriate legally required remedy will be provided.

Approved refunds will ordinarily be initiated within seven (7) working days after approval and completion of necessary verification. Financial-institution settlement may take additional time. Genuine payment disputes will not by themselves trigger automatic academic penalties or withholding of earned certificates.

8. Examination Schedule, Format and Conduct

Each examination is governed by its published eligibility, subject, level, timetable, marking scheme, paper instructions and official notices. Schools must follow the current Centre Coordinator and Invigilator Instructions, including secure receipt and storage of confidential materials, room-wise seating arrangements, candidate verification, attendance, OMR handling, reconciliation, sealing and return dispatch.

October and November session materials must be treated as separate confidential examination cycles. No school or participant may prematurely open, photograph, circulate or publish confidential examination content. ScienceX may make reasonable changes to schedules or delivery methods when necessary, with appropriate communication and remedies under the applicable policies and law.

9. Candidate Conduct and Academic Integrity

Participants must complete assessments independently and follow invigilator instructions. Cheating, impersonation, unauthorised devices or assistance, OMR tampering, question-paper leakage, result manipulation and misuse of examination systems are prohibited.

Alleged misconduct will be reviewed using relevant records, and appropriate opportunity to clarify may be provided where practicable. Proportionate measures may include warning, cancellation of an attempt, disqualification or correction of an improperly awarded result. Serious incidents may be reported to the relevant institution or lawful authority.

10. Online Examination and Proctoring

Where an online examination is offered, device, connectivity, browser and other requirements will be communicated beforehand. ScienceX may use proportionate security controls appropriate to the examination. Webcam, audio, screen capture or AI-assisted monitoring will not be introduced merely by virtue of acceptance of these Terms; any such processing will require an appropriate specific notice, lawful basis and safeguards, particularly for children.

11. Results, SAI Reports, Certificates and Awards

Results, Scientific Aptitude Index (SAI) reports, ranks, certificates, tie-breakers and awards follow the published rules for the relevant programme. ScienceX may correct demonstrable errors and investigate malpractice. Participants may use the published support or grievance route to raise genuine result discrepancies. No specific rank, award, admission or career outcome is guaranteed.

Detailed student reports and examination records are intended for authorised access. Optional promotional publication of a child's image or testimonial requires appropriate separate consent.

12. Products, Publications, Courses and Subscriptions

ScienceX may sell or provide ScienceX Lab in a Box, robotics and scientific kits, books, posters, educational software, courses, digital resources and related products. Material specifications, age guidance, pricing and availability will be described in the applicable listing. Customers must follow product safety instructions, particularly where kits contain glassware, chemicals, heat sources or electrical components.

Physical-product delivery, damage, missing items, replacement and refunds are governed by the Shipping & Delivery Policy and Refund & Cancellation Policy. Subscription billing, renewals and cancellation conditions must be disclosed in the specific subscription offer.

13. Intellectual Property and Permitted Use

ScienceX or its licensors own applicable intellectual-property rights in the ScienceX brand, websites, software, question papers, answer keys, publications, graphics and learning resources. Users receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable permission to access purchased or authorised resources for the stated personal or institutional educational purpose.

Unauthorised resale, commercial redistribution, reproduction, public uploading, infringement, or interference with software and security is prohibited, subject to rights and exceptions available under applicable law. The registered-trademark symbol is used only for marks actually registered in the relevant jurisdiction.

14. User-Submitted Material

Users must have the authority to submit documents, school records, student information and other content. Users retain ownership of their original material. ScienceX receives only the limited permissions necessary to provide the requested service, administer programmes, protect systems, fulfil lawful obligations and handle authorised support. Submission does not grant blanket rights to publish, advertise with or sell personal or student content.

15. Privacy, Cookies and Communications

Personal data is processed under the Privacy Policy and relevant collection notices. Accepting these Terms is not a substitute for separate consent where required by data-protection law. Essential service communications may include registration, payment, exam schedules, results, delivery and security notices. Optional marketing communications are subject to applicable consent and opt-out requirements.

Cookies and similar technologies are handled according to the applicable privacy and cookie notices. ScienceX will not use children's personal data for prohibited targeted advertising or behavioural monitoring.

16. Third-Party Providers

ScienceX may use payment, hosting, messaging, logistics, technology and other service providers. Independent third-party websites may have their own terms. ScienceX remains responsible for obligations imposed on it by applicable law and will not rely on a third-party disclaimer to exclude non-excludable rights or data-protection responsibilities.

17. Service Availability, Changes and Suspension

ScienceX uses reasonable efforts to maintain reliable services, but interruptions may occur due to maintenance, security events, outages or circumstances beyond reasonable control. Changes to future services, prices, programmes and features may be made with appropriate notice where required. Changes will not retrospectively remove accrued statutory rights or unfairly alter completed purchases.

Access may be restricted or suspended where reasonably necessary for security, fraud, non-payment or substantiated misuse. Restrictions should be proportionate and subject to applicable legal rights.

18. Warranties and Liability

ScienceX does not guarantee uninterrupted digital access or any particular academic outcome. However, it will provide services and products in accordance with applicable descriptions, contractual commitments and mandatory legal standards. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, legally protected consumer remedies, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Any limitation of liability applies only to the extent permitted by law and must be interpreted reasonably in light of the service and circumstances.

19. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, a user may be responsible for direct, reasonably foreseeable losses caused by their proven fraud, unlawful misuse, infringement or material breach of these Terms. This clause does not impose unlimited liability for ordinary use or for acts outside the user's control.

20. Force Majeure

Events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, government restrictions, major transport disruption, cyber incidents or widespread outages, may affect delivery. ScienceX will make reasonable efforts to mitigate the impact, inform affected users and offer remedies where required by law or the applicable programme terms.

21. Complaints and Grievance Redressal

Schools, parents, customers and other users may raise registration, examination, product, refund, privacy or service concerns through official ScienceX support channels. Where applicable consumer law requires complaint acknowledgement or resolution within a prescribed period, ScienceX will follow that requirement. Privacy requests are governed by the Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection law.

22. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by Indian law. Subject to mandatory consumer rights, applicable statutory forums and jurisdictional rules, courts of competent jurisdiction in Delhi/New Delhi may hear disputes arising from these Terms. Users may approach any competent authority or forum where the law gives them that right.

23. Changes to These Terms

Updated Terms will be published with their effective date. Material changes affecting an ongoing service will be communicated where required. Continued website use alone does not constitute consent to a new personal-data processing purpose, and changes will not retrospectively remove accrued statutory rights.

24. Severability, No Waiver and Entire Agreement

If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent lawful. Failure to enforce a provision on one occasion does not automatically waive future enforcement. These Terms, together with applicable programme notices and referenced policies, form the relevant agreement for the service, subject to mandatory law.

26. Acceptance

By registering, purchasing or using a ScienceX service, the authorised user agrees to the applicable contractual Terms presented for that service. Where separate consent is legally required, including parental consent for children's personal data, that consent must be obtained through the relevant process and is not inferred solely from use of the website.
